How to tune a soprano ukulele?
Tuning a ukulele is quite different from tuning a guitar. On the latter, tuning each string to E-A-D-G or B-E-A-D or any other combination of intervals produces the same chord, which is A major on all six strings. This is because guitars are tuned with perfect fourths (except for some rare tunings like DADGAD, which are simply another set of A notes at different intervals).
How big is a soprano ukulele?
A standard soprano ukulele is around 21 inches (53 cm) long. The scale length (distance between the nut and the saddle) is around 13 inches (335 mm).
